Donations to the Historical Society are always appreciated. We thank you in advance for your support. The Hanover Historical Society is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation under the laws of the state of New Hampshire.
Your gift helps this all-volunteer organization in many ways. While Dartmouth College owns and cares for Webster Cottage and some of the artifacts on display in it, the Society owns and cares for the many items which have been donated to it. Each year the Society awards a scholarship to a graduating senior at Hanover High School. The Society organizes events and presents lectures to educate residents from Hanover and its surrounding communities and works in partnership with other historical, preservation, and gardening groups.

High School Scholarship
Since 2018, the Hanover Historical Society has provided a scholarship to a deserving senior in the Hanover High School located in town. The student is selected by the Social Studies Department for their “Excellence in Social Studies.” Designate this high school scholarship for your gift if you wish.
